This Cookie Policy explains how MACLEC Technical Project Laboratory Pvt. Ltd. (“MACLEC”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on maclec.com (the “Website”). 2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include local storage in your browser. Cookies set by us are “first-party”; cookies set by another company whose service we use are “third-party”.

We use cookies in the following categories:

• Strictly necessary. These make the Website work and remember your cookie choices. They cannot be switched off, because the Website does not work properly without them.
• Analytics (only with your consent). These tell us, in aggregate, which pages are visited, from which countries and on which devices, so we can improve the Website. They are set only if you choose “Accept all” or switch on Analytics in Cookie settings. We do not use any analytics service at present; if we add one, we will list its cookies in the table below.
• Marketing. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.

To show this Website we load fonts from Google Fonts, programme libraries from unpkg, videos from Amazon Web Services, images from Unsplash and a small number of other image hosts, the map on our Contact page from Google Maps, and the list of countries in our Potential Atlas from CountriesNow. These providers receive technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver the content. If any of them sets a cookie, we list it in the table above.

6. Location, camera and files in the Potential Atlas

Our Potential Atlas can use your device’s camera and location to record a site. It does so only when you press the capture button and your browser asks your permission. The media and coordinates stay in your browser until you submit the form, and they are not stored in cookies. How we use submitted information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

7. Your choices

• When you first visit, a banner lets you choose “Accept all”, “Reject non-essential” or “Cookie settings”. Non-essential cookies stay off until you accept them.
• You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
• You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Website working.

We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the tools we use. The date at the top shows the latest version. If we add a new category of cookies, we will ask for your consent again.
